October 26 - Friday @ Lost on Main will be our Halloween Bash!
We got our first really out of town DJ lined up for our October Halloween party that you do not want to miss! Every year the halloween party seems to be the one everyone comes out for, all decked out in crazy outfits and a giddy smile! We have phenominal house diva Lillyanne coming up from Los Angeles to play 2 hours of cutting edge deep funky house music for us.

who WE ARE
Stephen Holland-Chang and Anna Ramie run the production crew known as future/now. Anna handles mostly artist/djs bookings, venue relationships, design and decorations while Stephen assists with artists/djs, provides sound reinforcement, produces visuals, flyers and also djs. We love throwing parties we want to go to and that's pretty much it.

Been Djing for 3-5 years and involved with this type of music since the early 90s. His sets are very much about getting people on the dance floor and plays a lot of the west coast style house and British tech-house currently being spun at small bars in SF and London.  Generally spinning a variety of genres between funky house, disco, glitchy tech-house, micro house, techno and electro-clash/house. Stephen will play what's accessible but that people haven't heard before and work in more challenging music as people begin to dance. He created and manages the www.530techno.org website for the electronic music community around here. Some labels played: Get Physical, Systematic, Utensil, Low Down, Tango, Poker Flat, Spectral, Aroma, Kompakt, Dirty Bird, Dubsided, Free Range etc...
 
The abstract_terrorist
Chico resident and owner of www.vinyljunkie.com, a company specializing in selling hard to find vinyl records. He is also an experienced dj under the name of The abstract_terrorist who plays a very eclectic mix of music. From the velvet underground to rare early 90's house music, jazz, dub, and my bloody valentine mixed in for good measure, Sean is one of the most exciting and versatile djs around and will appeal to a wide audience. He knows how to get the crowd dancing.
 
Nemo
Tech-house junkie. Expect things deep, intricate, psychedelic and made for the dance floor.

Holger Honda
Chico resident whose been involved in electronic music for at least 10 years. Creates his own music under the name of Holger Honda and performs with a live PA. He also Djs generally spinning an excellent chill out, German dub, downtempo and techno set from labels such as Rising High, Force Inc., Kompakt, Plug Research, Compost and Underground Resistance.

Dj Chipy
Chico Resident and founder of Classic Grooves, one of the only production companies in the area pulling in out of town talent for monthly dance events. Playing for at least 12 years, Chipy's skills on the turntables are widely known. He specializes in up-tempo chicago style house music and funky house but has been known to spin everything from trance and breaks to hip-hop. Chipy has been throwing events recently at Mr. Lucky, Stormy's off Broadway and Fulcrum.

Chico Resident and local dj pushing the house/breaks music sound for several years, XiM is one of the most talented people in the area. He's played so many parties in the area we've lost count but always knows how to get young and old people on the dance floor with his 80's remixes, funky house, jungle and breaks.
